AEG was contracted to complete a Phase I ESA in Providence, Rhode Island. The two parcels of land involved totaled approximately 0.3 of an acre in size. This commercial property contained a 6,700 square foot cinder block, one-story structure with a basement. The remaining area of the Site consisted of a parking lot. Information obtained indicated that the building was formerly heated by #2 fuel oil that was stored in an AST located in the basement. Since the switch to natural gas, the AST has been removed. AEG concluded that recognized environmental conditions did not exist on Site. Following this assessment the property was sold with no environmental issues identified.
