AEG completed a Phase I & II ESA in Providence, Rhode Island. The Phase I ESA concluded that recognized environmental conditions existed at the Site, because of the former use as a jewelry manufacturer, specifically gold and silver-plating, according to the Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps reviewed in the Phase I ESA. This work led to a recommendation for a Phase II subsurface investigation. The Phase II involved 3 borings converted to monitoring wells. Soil and groundwater samples were collected and VOC impacted groundwater was discovered. Information was supplied to the prospective buyer for purchase consideration.
