AEG completed a Phase I & II ESA in Woburn, Massachusetts. The Phase I ESA concluded that recognized environmental conditions existed at the Site. That conclusion was based mainly upon the use of industrial chemicals on the Site, past cut and fill activities, identified through topographic maps and aerial photographs, and the current status of the surrounding properties. AEG supervised the drilling of soil borings to determine the presence of fill material and potential contamination. During drilling activities, shallow bedrock was encountered throughout the Site, and no contaminants were identified over regulatory limits, therefore further investigation was not recommended.
